The poems in Firefly were written in Summer of 2018 in Barrytown, NY, by Joshua Beckman. The artworks created for this book were made in Summer 2022 by Jon Beacham.

Hand set and printed letterpress on a Vandercook no. 4 in an edition of 225 copies. Sewn and bound by hand. Typesetting, letterpress printing, and binding by Jon Beacham. Artwork printed color offset at GHP Media.

The poems are set in Hermann Zapf's Aldus typeface. The cover and title page also include Zapf's Michelangelo and Palatino. All of the type used in this book was cast by Rainer Gertsenberg in Frankfurt, Germany.
