Sweeney's Birds as Leaves examines the body in transition, gender and sexuality, motherhood and nature, writing the book in snippets on her phone when she has the time. Wagner's Seven Sunsets focuses on the body of work we create, on memory looping, music looping, the artist, the critic, a photo of the sunset and the sunset itself.
